: An Arizona couple has been charged with CHILD ABUSE - for tossing BOILING WATER on their four year old son - and then sticking him in a closet, to MARINATE.
According to police, 28-year-old Joscilin Smith, allegedly threw a pot of boiling water at his father, Aaron Roland, during an argument. The water splashed on the boy, and court documents say the toddler suffered severe burns on his back, arm, shoulder and leg when his mother,
Officers acting on a tip found the child with second-degree burns to 8 per cent of his body hidden in a closet during a welfare check Friday. It was TWO WEEKS after the incident, and the boy had NOT received any medical attention.
The couple has seven children between ages one and 10.
