"A South Carolina couple is suing the state's Department of Social Services, a hospital, a medical school and individual hospital employees, alleging that a "medically unnecessary" genital removal surgery violated their adopted intersex child's constitutional rights.

Mark and Pam Crawford say that their child, identified as M.C., is now 8 years old and chooses to identify as a boy, despite doctors deciding that M.C. should be a girl at 16 months old. Jasleen, the Heaviest Baby in Germany

A baby weighing in at 13.4 pounds and measuring nearly 23 inches was born naturally last week in a German hospital.
The baby's mother was suffering from undiagnosed gestational diabetes that resulted in baby Jasleen's being born at a higher birth weight, according to a translated news release from the University Hospital Leipzig."*

Baby Jasleen was born weighing 13.4 pounds and measures nearly 23 inches, and was delivered naturally! She's the heaviest baby born in Germany, but certainly not the entire world. Ana Kasparian, Dave Rubin, and John Iadarola discuss.

"F***ing S**bag!" - Weiner Aide vs Weiner Intern

Tuesday was an angry day in Weinerland.

The campaign staff awoke to see their former intern, Olivia Nuzzi, on the front cover of the Daily News. Inside the paper was an article bylined by Nuzzi in which she told a rather unflattering tale of her experience working on Anthony Weiner's mayoral bid.

Now, Team Weiner is firing back. TPM called Weiner's communications director Barbara Morgan to discuss an unrelated story Tuesday and she went off on a curse-filled rant about Nuzzi."*

Student Imprisoned Without Food or Water Gets Payback

A University of California San Diego student left unmonitored in a holding cell for five days by the Drug Enforcement Administration has settled a lawsuit for $4.1 million, his attorney said.

"This was a mistake of unbelievable and unimaginable proportions," attorney Julia Yoo said on Tuesday.

Daniel Chong, 25, drank his own urine to survive and even wrote a farewell note to his mother before authorities discovered him severely dehydrated after a 2012 drug raid in San Diego."*

UCSD student Daniel Chong was detained by the DEA and was left in his cell, forgotten and without food or water for days even though it was clear he was not part of situation being investigated.
