"Pepper Spray Brutality" Cops Won't Face Charges in UC Davis Incident
Campus protests at UC Davis who were pepper sprayed won't receive justice... but they will receive money. "The University of California, Davis police officers who doused students and alumni with pepper spray during a campus protest last November won't face criminal charges. Images of an officer casually spraying orange pepper-spray in the faces of nonviolent protesters became a rallying point for the Occupy Wall Street movement. But the Yolo County District Attorney's office said in a statement that there was insufficient evidence to prove the use of force was illegal." Via Huffington Post. Watch the video and find out more with John Iadarola and Lisa Ferguson on TYT University!
What do you think? Should the officers have been charged with a crime? Or is the monetary verdict enough to count as "justice" when it comes to this pepper spray incident? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
