'God Made a Farmer' Super Bowl Ad
"There weren't any puppies or Sports Illustrated swimsuit models, but Dodge Ram's two-minute long Super Bowl spot quieted game watchers when it aired during the fourth quarter.
The nontraditional spot, created by The Richards Group, used stills of farmers and agricultural scenes over a louder-than-usual voiceover of Paul Harvey's poem, "So God Made A Farmer."*
Dodge's 'God Made a farmer' super bowl ad has been divisive among viewers. The ad, which cost a reported 16 million dollars just to air, is actually based on a Youtube video and uses an old poem from Paul Harvey. Do you like the ad? Is $16 million too much to be derivative?
